What this site receives, what happens to a video call, what a report captures, and how long any of it lives. Written for a site where the calls are the product — so the call questions are answered first.
Effective
01What this covers
This page covers fapmatch.chat — the pages you are reading now and the matching, calling and messaging that sit behind them. It is written for one specific situation: a site where the thing people do is point a camera at themselves and talk to a stranger. That raises questions a generic privacy page never answers, so the questions are answered here directly rather than buried under headings.
You have to be 18 or older to use any of it. If you are not, close the page.
02What we collect
Two things are worth separating up front, because they get confused constantly. Starting a match does not require an account — no email, no phone number, no password. But the service still receives some information the moment your browser connects, and some more if you choose to sign in or pay.
- Automatically, from every visitor
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, and server log entries recording access times and system activity. This is what makes the site load, routes a call, and lets us tell a real visitor from an automated one.
- Your age confirmation
- Confirming you are 18+ writes a single flag into your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us and it is not tied to an identity — it exists so the page stops asking.
- If you sign in with Google
- The email address and basic profile information Google returns. We ask for nothing beyond that, and we cannot read anything else in your Google account.
- If you pay
- The payment provider handles the card. We receive the fact and amount of a transaction so a balance can be credited — the card number never reaches us.
- If you file a report
- A captured frame from that call, plus what you wrote in the report. See section 04 — this is the one place where something from a call is kept.
We do not buy visitor data from anybody, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
03What happens to a call
A call runs between two people and ends when either side leaves. It is not recorded. There is no history page, no archive, and no way for either of you to play it back afterwards, because there is nothing to play back. Nobody at FapMatch watches calls, and calls are never streamed to anyone but the two people in them.
What the service cannot control is the other person. Nothing stops somebody pointing a phone at their own screen or running recording software that has no connection to this site, and no policy written here can undo that. Assume what you show a stranger can be captured by that stranger, and decide what you show on that basis. Skip is one tap and needs no reason.
04Reports, and the one frame we keep
The report control sits on the call screen the whole time. Filing a report captures a still frame from that call and sends it to a human moderator along with what you wrote. That is the only circumstance in which any image from a call is stored on our side, and it exists for one reason: a moderator who is shown nothing cannot act on anything.
- Reports reach a human moderator within 24 hours. They are read by a person, not by a filter alone.
- The captured frame is used for that review and nothing else. It is not published, not shared with other users, and not used for training or advertising.
- The frame is deleted once the case is closed. There is no fixed retention window because there is no reason to hold it past the decision.
- A confirmed ban attaches to the account behind the behaviour, not just to that one session.
If you believe a frame relating to you is being held after a case has closed, write to [email protected] and say so. We can check and delete.
05Who else touches any of this
A small number of providers do work we cannot do ourselves, and they only receive what that work needs:
- Hosting and delivery
- Serves the pages and carries call traffic between the two participants.
- Google Analytics
- Aggregated measurement — which pages get used, whether the site is healthy. Counts and trends, not dossiers on individuals.
- Google Sign-In
- Only if you choose it, and only to confirm the email address you are signing in with.
- Payment processing
- Only if you pay, and only to complete that payment.
Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law actually requires it — a valid legal demand, or a situation involving a credible risk to someone's safety. We do not sell personal information.
06How long things are kept
- Call content
- Not kept. It was never recorded.
- A frame captured by a report
- Deleted when that case is closed.
- Server logs
- Kept for a short operational window for security and abuse investigation, then discarded.
- Account information, if you made an account
- Kept while the account exists. Deleted or anonymised after it is closed, except where a legal obligation requires otherwise.
- Ban records
- Kept for as long as the ban is in force — a ban you can erase by clearing your browser is not a ban.
07Your choices
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. You can exercise these whether or not you ever made an account — though if you never made one, there may genuinely be nothing tied to you to hand over.
Write to [email protected]. We may need to establish that the request is really coming from you before acting on it; that check protects you, not us. You can also clear this site's stored data at any time from your browser's site settings — including the 18+ flag, which will simply make the page ask again.
08Nobody under 18
This is an adults-only service. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, and an account found to belong to a minor is removed rather than warned.
If you believe a minor is using the service, report it — during a call the report control is on screen; otherwise write to [email protected]. What we do about it is set out on the child safety page.
09Changes, and how to reach us
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the effective date moves. We are not going to quietly widen what is collected and leave the old text standing — if the product starts keeping something it does not keep today, this page says so before that happens, not after.
Questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: [email protected]. There is also a contact page with the rest of the routes.
Short version: calls are not recorded, a report captures one frame so a human has something to look at, and that frame goes away when the case closes.
