The line here is consent, not modesty. What is fine between two adults, the short list that is never fine, and what actually happens after you press report.

Effective

01The line is consent, not modesty

This is an adult service and it does not pretend otherwise. Two adults who both want a call to go somewhere explicit are not breaking a rule — that is what the room is for, and a guideline that pretended otherwise would be dishonest about the product.

The line is the other person. Everything below follows from that single idea: what they agreed to is the boundary, and moving past it is the offence, whatever the act happens to be.

02Never, regardless of what anyone agreed to

A short list, and there is no version of consent that unlocks any of it:

  • Anyone under 18 visible on camera in any way. There is no warning step for this one.
  • Anyone who is unconscious, incapacitated, or plainly not in a state to agree to anything.
  • Filming, screenshotting or reposting somebody who did not agree to it.
  • Threatening to expose somebody, or asking for money to not expose them.
  • Violence, animals, or content depicting real harm.
  • Hate aimed at who somebody is rather than what they did.

03Pressure is the common one

Most reports are not about the list above. They are about somebody who kept asking after the answer was no, or who treated a skip as an insult that needed arguing with. That is the behaviour this service is least willing to tolerate, because it is the one that quietly makes a place unusable.

  • Ask once. A person who wants to will say yes without being worn down.
  • A skip is not a verdict on you and does not require an explanation. Nobody owes you a reason.
  • Do not ask for a real name, an address, a workplace or a social handle. If somebody offers, that is theirs to offer.
  • Do not treat somebody's accent, body, country or English as material.

04Protecting yourself

Two things worth knowing before the first call, neither of which is a rule so much as arithmetic:

  • A stranger can capture their own screen using software that has nothing to do with this site. We cannot prevent that. Show what you would be comfortable existing somewhere else.
  • Keep your full name, employer, school and address to yourself until there is an actual reason to share them. Almost nobody who asks early has a good one.

05What happens when you report

The report control sits on the call screen the whole time rather than three menus deep, because a control you have to hunt for during a bad call is not a control.

  • Filing a report captures a still frame from that call, so the person reviewing it has something to look at rather than two conflicting stories.
  • A human moderator reads it within 24 hours. Not a filter alone, and not a queue somebody opens on Monday.
  • A confirmed breach ends the account behind it, not just that session.
  • The captured frame is used for that review only and is deleted when the case closes.

Skip ends the call immediately and needs no reason — do that first, report after. The data side of all this is on the privacy page.

06If you think a decision was wrong

Moderation is people, and people get things wrong. Write to [email protected] with what happened and roughly when. A decision that was wrong gets reversed; a decision that was right gets explained as far as explaining it does not compromise the person who reported you.

If you only remember one thing: ask once, take the answer, and use skip instead of arguing with it.
