01What this site actually holds

Worth stating first, because it changes what a takedown means here: calls are not recorded and there is no gallery, feed or archive of user video on this site. There is no library to search and no post to remove. What can exist is a still frame captured because somebody filed a report, and it is deleted when that case closes.

So most requests that reach this page are one of two things: material of yours that somebody else captured and put elsewhere, or a profile image being used that is not theirs to use. Both are handled — the routes are below.

02Sending a notice

Write to [email protected] with "Copyright" in the subject line. Include enough for us to act without a second round of questions:

• What the work is, and where the original lives if it is online.
• Where on this service you believe it appears — a profile, a username, a time and date.
• A statement that you believe the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your name, a physical address, and an email address we can reply to. An electronic signature is fine.

Notices are read by a person. A complete one is usually actioned within a few business days; an incomplete one costs a round trip, which is the only reason the list above is that specific.

03If it is you, and you did not consent

This is treated as urgent and does not require you to own a copyright in anything. Write to [email protected] with "Non-consensual" in the subject line, tell us where it appears, and confirm that the person shown is you and did not agree to it. We do not ask you to prove ownership of your own image before acting.

If the material is on some other site rather than this one, we cannot remove it — but say so anyway and we will remove any account here that is pointing people to it, which is often the part that is actually doing the damage.

04If you think a removal was wrong

Reply to the notice you received, or write to [email protected] with what was removed, why you believe it was removed in error, and your contact details. Repeat infringement ends the account behind it, so a genuine mistake is worth correcting rather than ignoring.
